The essays
Welcome to my blog. You’ll notice it’s rather eclectic — a mix of longer geopolitical essays (Bhutan is one of my favourites; there are some big surprises there) and more light-hearted musings. I like to keep everything grounded in philosophy so there is some form of ‘answer’, I suppose, at the end of each. I try to connect what’s going on in the wider world to how we might live together well: a chance to reflect on what we believe, how we should act, and who we are becoming. Reading and writing like this is a brilliant exercise in understanding not only the fascinating power dynamics of Lebanon, but also ourselves — enabling us to be more conscientious and useful decision-makers shaping the future. Happy reading.
