The rapid evolution of grey zone warfare (GZW) has outpaced the international community's (IC) ability to effectively address the novel challenges it poses to the international legal order. This paper examines how the law of state responsibility can be adapted to meet the challenges of GZW, contributing to the advancement of transparency and stability. This paper received a first with cum laude and honours.

Yazidi women have found themselves in a situation of internal displacement since the ISIS attack on Sinjar in 2014. Despite international guidelines being in place to observe that their protection needs are taken care of by either the responsible government or international community, they remain in a highly vulnerable, volatile condition 7 years on.
